Time to Reflect on Your Real Estate Intuition

Dear Friends,

OK. You have worked hard all year on your real estate learning and deals. It has not been the easiest year for real estate. So how can you make 2007 easier? Pay closer attention to what your intuition is telling you. To do so, let's review 2006:

1. Stand back and review all your deals. How well did you listen to your intuition?
2. Pick out the times you listened and it worked very well.
3. Appreciate your intuition for helping you out and bringing more profits!
4. Pick out the times you wish you had listened and did not.
5. Apologize to your intuition and try to do better next time.

This is a relationship! Take time to build a good one with your intuition.

Intuition and Analysis-Real Estate Partners

Systematic reliable intuition can make you much greater profits with much less stress in your
real estate deals. Knowing what is safe and what is not safe to get into, finding an exit sales or rental strategy, can all be easier and clearer.

Friends without their intuition have suffered huge losses in real estate, which is very sad.

On the other hand, intuition does not substitute for doing your due diligence, especially when starting out. Without your facts and your intuition together, you are at risk. There is a reason we have a left and right brain both!! (Just a metaphor, but you get the idea!)

Do your homework, find a mentor, know your facts. And never leave home for a real estate deal without your intuition!

Intuition saves the day

Dear friends,

Sadly, my assistant was out ill for a month and could not return to work.

My intuition told me several months ago to have him list our usual procedures.

This list is now saving my bacon in training a new assistant in tasks I would not know how to do!

Thank goodness for my intuition

Dear Friends,

What do you think is the greatest challange in using intuition for business, real estate, and finances?

People often ask me what is the greatest challange in using intuiting for business and real estate. I always reply: "Forgetting to ask your intuition for help." Well, this time I did remember. I purchased two gorgeous investment properties, and kept wanting to sell them. Every time I asked my intuition I senced, "No, wait." When I checked with a national real estate expert investor and teacher, she explained why it was better to wait. Most interesting. My intuition knew better than I did. Thank you intuition!

Humbling Moments in Real Estate

Dear Friends,

People often ask me if there are any risks or downsides to using intuition. My favorite reply is,
"Yes, one. Forgetting to ask your inuition and pushing ahead just on your opinions." Everyone who uses intuition stumbes across this issue sooner or later. In my case, it was sooner.

In my first house, my intuition guided me to the perfect house. (see previous post for example) But once inside the house, I forgot to ask my intuition a crucial question: To replace those awful shag carpets, what color carpet should I put down instead? Since I forgot to ask my intuition, I went ahead on my strong opinions about color, putting down rose mauv and teal blue carpets in the bedrooms.

Can you believe this? I wasn't even thinking about resale! And my intuition couldn't help me since I hadn't been thoughtful enough to ask. Well, I got a good price and a good profit at resale witout having to replace the carpets again, but I could have done better if I had thought to put down neutral carpets.

Learn from my mistake. Put your opinions aside and ask your intuition, your inner real estate partner. Remember to ask your intuition!

July 4th - The Freedom to Profit

Dear Friends,

One of the great turning points in the economic development of any nation is the Government's decision to allow individual citizens to own land. In our country, here in the U.S., we take that for granted.

But in many countries around the world, individuals cannot own land. This week, during the 4th of July, every one of us buying and selling real estate should be grateful, deeply grateful, for the freedom we have to do this.

It is easy to get caught up in the ups and downs of our own deals and forget to be grateful for this basic freedom that we have as Americans. Generating wealth from real estate is a huge part of our portofios and our economy. How much of that would we have without the freedom to own real estate? Not much!

Next time you are thinking about or working on a real estate deal, remember to give thanks that you live in a country with the freedom to do this.

And always remember to ask your intuition.

You Want Me to Buy That House? You Gotta Be Kidding!

HI,
I am Dr. Linne Bourget, and lately the story of how I bought my first house has been on my mind.

Having never bought a house before, I was clueless when I started. Have you been through this? If you have bought your first house, weren't you nervous? Buying your first home is one of those items the stress experts list as one of the biggest sources of stress.

When I had to buy mine, and quickly, it was before the internet, so all the great information we take for granted now was unavailable! To make matters even scarier, I was swamped with consulting work and had no time to do the research I usually do when facing something new. How in the world could I figure out what to buy? Have you been in this situation?

Starting out with an agent who knew the neighborhood, hoping at lest one of us would know what she was doing, we found an adorable little house on a hill with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a split level. I fell in love with it instantly. Have you fallen in love with a house?

Then the trouble started. Because I was clueless about real estate, my intuition was essential. The Master Intuition System I had developed for business clients worked well in my business, and since desperation was the mother of innovation in this case, I asked my intuition about the little house.

The news was not good. My intuition said not to buy the house, that it was too small and I would be crowded there. What a disappointment! I loved the little house. But I knew better than to ignore my intuition, and kept looking. Then the agent showed me, get this, a five-bedroom house! I could not believe it! What in the world would I do with five bedrooms?
What was she drinking?!! Have your emotions led you to buy a house that wasn't right for you?

After much stewing, I asked my intuition about the larger house. My intuition gave a huge yes, which worried me. This house needed lots of work and I had no time to do it! But I know better than to ignore my intuition, so we put an offer in on a Friday night, which was accepted. That Sunday, they had an open house and many other offers would have come in!

We got it in the nick of time!

This house turned out to be the perfect house for me and my company and my four-footed office assistant, Sam the Magic Cat. In my wildest dreams I could not have imagined using five bedrooms, but we needed them all! And the location, in the woods with the lovely trees, was ideal, a healing space much needed with my hectic and demanding business!

And as a special bonus, this house turned out to be very profitable when I sold it, despite selling it an a very bad down market where neighbors lost tens of thousands of dollars and had their homes on the market for months and months. We had a contract in 6 weeks!

Now I was a believer in using intuition for real estate profits. The most powerful lesson: Intuition can help you navigate your way through your emotions for greater real estate profits, if you know how to work with it! How can you separate intuition and emotions? Stay tuned....

Intuition For Real-Estate Profits

Hi,

Would you like to learn what intuition has taught me and how I made over $600,000 in my first four real estate deals!?

I am Dr. Linne Bourget and I never thought in my wildest dreams I would be investing in real estate. In no way was this part of my plan, and beyond that, I never planned on using my Master Intuition System, created for corporate clients to profit from selling my own homes.

How could I navigate the mysteries of buying a house and later having to sell it to move to another city? This was indeed overwhelming and remember, there was no internet with all the great real estate and financing information we have now.

Well as you know, desperate time call for desperate measures. I started using my Master Intuition System to help me out with real estate and low and behold, it proved very successful. I had already had 8 years experience with my System with client projects, so that gave me confidence to apply it to real estate.

For my very first home, intuition guided my to let go of the little house that I fell in love with and buy a larger home than I could ever have imagined I'd need. As a result, I lived in the perfect place and made a much better profit selling it than I would have with the smaller home I had fallen in love with but not bought. Also, intuition helped me make $50,000 profit on my first house sale when my neighbors were losing tens of thousands of dollars on their homes. They had houses on the market for months, but mine sold in 6 weeks, and this was in a very bad down market.

Over time, I applied intuition to all of my real estate deals, my own homes and my investments. Not only did I make more profits and have mroe harmonious homes to live in, but my intuition kept me out of a lot of trouble.

In the next few months, I will be putting up a website to offer the Master Intuition System and several stories of my real estate deals in great detail to illustrate how the System works.

What intuition has taugh me is that all of us have more wisdom inside of us than we have any idea of.
